Our dear brother Indy has been in lockdown for almost two years.
Right now he is very sick, unable to walk, and only able to whisper.
He is so weak.
With great love and faithfulness, he has an armful of men who gather online weekly and pray for each other.
This morning, as they came together again, the words of Hebrew 13:1&3 were fresh and alive:
Keep on loving one another as brothers and sisters …
Continue to remember those in prison as if you were together with them in prison,
and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering.
Indy, who has been unable to join the last few weeks, suddenly appeared on the screen and was greeted with such gladness!
In words barely audible, he kept saying, “God is so good. God is so good.”
One of those present said
“I don’t think I’ve ever experienced the kind of tenderness and warmth in prayer that we had this morning.
God was with us.”
