Mill Creek Church in Edmonton spent last summer intentionally connecting life and faith.
Together, on zoom, they talked about everything –
from social justice to climate justice to vocation.
With good ground rules in place, they were able to talk about things that are sometimes controversial,
relevant,
and always connected to faith.
Together, as the body of Christ,
They practised active listening.
They kept Jesus at the centre.
These conversations are important.
We hear them on social media and at the coffee shop –
If we can’t have these kinds of conversations in church, where else can we go?
And as followers of Jesus, we want to know the heart of God about all these things.
