We strongly support the bi-annual Church Planting Canada congress.
We collaborate with other denominations in joint training events for planters, coaches, assessment and training. For more visit our EVENTS section.
Vision Ministries doesn’t have a set approach for funding new initiatives – sometimes providing no funds, sometimes significant funding. We decide on a case by case basis, fully involving the leaders of the new plant. Once VMC makes a commitment, it has to source the funds. The organization doesn’t have an endowment or regular assumed funding for any of its work, including church planting.
However, God has faithfully allowed us to come alongside church plants with hundreds of thousands of dollars, for many years.
We have a full-service system for “incubating” church plants. Until a new group is fully incorporated and has charitable status (we aim to see this happen within 1 year of initial activity), Vision Ministries can provide a bank account, on-line accounting, insurance, payroll system, charitable receipting, etc, recognizing that the new plant is a ministry of VMC. We also help with incorporation and charity status applications.
