New Matching Gift Program:

In 2019 we have a unique opportunity! A small group of donors are willing to match any new monthly commitments, new one-time donations, or even increased donations received during 2019. Any new giving, beyond the normal giving pattern, will be matched. If you were to give $100 per month, then the matching donors will provide an additional $100 per month, doubling the impact of your gift. The same match occurs with new one-time gifts.

We encourage giving to our general fund, so that gifts can be used where needed most. If a gift is designated toward an approved program it will be used as designated, with the understanding that when any given need has been met designated gifts will be used where needed most.

VMC is a Registered Charity and our financial records and systems are subject to an external audit performed each year by an independent firm of Chartered Accountants. Spending of funds is confined to [board/charity] approved programs and projects. Each contribution directed toward an approved program or project will be used as restricted with the understanding that when the need for such a program or project has been met or cannot be completed for any reason as determined by the [board/charity], the remaining restricted contributions will be used where most needed.
