How to see, connect, listen, and share the gospel.

This is what youth from Scarborough Chinese Bible Church learned on their 5 day disciple-making training at REMIX in Toronto.
Partnering with Youth Unlimited, every morning the Scarborough Chinese Bible Church youth received training.
How to see people with eyes of compassion, not comparison.
How to connect, how to listen.
How to share the gospel.
Then the afternoons were spent practising what they had learned.

Youth Pastor Namrata Sun prayed that God would use this local mission trip to help the youth understand what it means to be a disciple of Jesus.
She wanted them to know God more and to follow Jesus more closely.
Initially some youth were nervous, even scared, about evangelism.
But then she told me stories of youth sharing the gospel with strangers and engaging in conversations about faith and life.

As the youth reflected on the local mission trip, they said that they learned something about spiritual warfare and the need to have a strong prayer life.
Namrata saw how the youth started to prioritize prayer more and even began praying for one another in a new way.

Evangelism is a spiritual practice we need to practice.
Pray for these youth as they put into practice what they’ve been learning.
