A woman showed up on Christmas Eve, wanting to volunteer at Wasaga Community Church’s Christmas Dinner.
She was relatively new to town and not really familiar with church.
But she wanted to serve others and be a part of a community at Christmas time.
Christina warmly welcomed her and invited her to stay for church and get to know the church community.
She stayed for the church service.
Then she came back the next day to help serve Christmas dinner.
After a busy day of dishing out turkey and filling up coffee mugs,
she said, “I think I found my family.”
She continues to come and serve and be part of things at Wasaga Community Church.
Curious to learn more, a few weeks ago, she asked for a Bible.
It was the goodness and beauty of God,
evidenced by the faith community that intrigued her and drew her in.
God works in all kinds of ways!
