For 21 years in a row, Fall River Chapel has sent a team of people down to Ecuador to help with their camp ministry.
Obviously, due to COVID, this hasn’t happened for the last few years.
Sad news – for both sides.
But what has happened is good news!
The camp ministry has adapted and morphed.
Instead of offering kids a week away at camp, they have fed families in the neighbourhood.
The Ecuadorian leadership team has taken responsibility for their kids and families and initiated new ministries to meet the new needs.
And they have invited their Canadian friends to be involved in new and different ways.
Lots to be thankful for and grateful that God continues to move and nudge people towards mission in new ways.
