Cohorts
Over the course of our two-day conference, we would like to bring attendees together around similar characteristics, shared ministry experience or common interest. We hope these two-part cohorts will cultivate deeper relationships among ministry peers, focus conversation on a particular theme, and stir creative thinking about how to move forward as a network.
Cohorts will be together on Friday (3:00 pm) and Saturday (12:15 pm)

Complex Church Leadership (LRC Kids)
This cohort is designed for those involved in churches with at least one of the following characteristics: multi-staff, multi-service (worship), multi-site or sub-congregations.

Diaspora Leaders & Mission (Community Room)
This cohort is designed for new Canadians, those ministering among immigrant populations (particularly non-Caucasians or those of non-euro descent) and those who are interested in cross-cultural mission in multi-cultural Canada.

Evangelism & Gospel Fluency (Room 235)
This cohort is designed for those who are interested in cultivating a deeper understanding of the gospel and finding effective ways to help others to become followers of Jesus in secular Canada.

Majority Church Leadership (Room 261)
The most common expression of church in Canada, by quite a margin, is a church with less than 150 people in weekly worship. These congregations are often led by solo pastors, with limited ministry resources. This cohort is designed for leaders who serve in this church context.

This cohort is designed for younger leaders (mid-thirties & under) or those ministering primarily to young adults and the emerging generation.

Women in Church Leadership (Room 101)
This cohort is designed mostly for women who serve as leaders in congregational life. It is also open to those who are interested in creating platforms within the church for women to lead and learning how best to support those who are already leading.
