Mission to Cambodia – Toronto China Bible Church

Mingpeng and Binghai, two VMC pastors from the Toronto China Bible Church network, recently travelled to Cambodia.
One of their stops was the River of Life School and church in Village 94.
They brought gifts of clothes and stationery for the children and shared the gospel with the people there.

This is a community that is made up of people who had previously lost their homes and out of desperation settled here.
These families live with virtually no security.
In many ways, they are a forgotten group.
And they could be relocated soon if it’s decided that an airport should be built there instead.

But God has not forgotten about them.
A church from Singapore started a school there.
The school was started with one teacher and one whiteboard meeting with a group of children under one tree.
Now there are 5 teachers teaching 155 children from grade 1 to 7.
And there’s a church.
People gather to worship and hear God’s Word and to pray.

Amidst the slum conditions, the light of Jesus shines.
Please pray for this small group of Christian brothers and sisters in Cambodia.
