An encouraging letter from a VMC pastor …
About a month ago, we received an email from a young woman wanting to come meet with a pastor.
She’d grown up in the church, but had never embraced faith in Christ.
She’d gone her own way.
When she was 22, she was diagnosed with an aggressive cancer – and started praying for God’s intervention.
And it happened.
God healed her.
But she knew she was just using God, not seeking him.
Then one day, while in the shower, she experienced God’s presence pouring over her, flooding her heart and soul and mind, and causing her to want Jesus.
She called our church to say she needed to talk to a pastor and get baptized.
Praise God – for gently and lovingly capturing this woman’s attention and for the new life that God is giving birth to in her life.
