In 2016, Mike and Sharon have been happily married for over 3 decades and continue to give thanks for the gift of three children, a daughter-in-law and three grandchildren. Randy HeinDirector of Young Catalysts www.youngcatalysts.net
I have been a pastor in Victoria for the past 20 years. After an academic sabbatical used to research the relationship between community, faith and art, I came together with a grassroots group of leaders to give birth to Hollydene Community Church. I’m super passionate about community, justice issues, the local arts scene, coffee, and my beloved Canucks (nothing but heartache as of late). After all these years, the love of Jesus still amazes me. I have an incredible fondness for young leaders and I desire to see them mentored relationally, developed theologically and engaged socially. Along with my part-time work for Vision Ministries, I teach regularly at Auxano Bible School. Marcy and I have two adult children, Caleb and Sarah.
