God’s Patient Leading – Guelph Bible Chapel

When Dan and Lindsay had to return to Canada from their cross-cultural post in north Africa, they were disappointed.
They loved their work.
They were also more than a little scared.
Their little daughter had serious health concerns and it was hard to know what the future held.

Dan enrolled in seminary and it was time of significant healing.
Working through the transition of work to school and eventually the realization that they needed to live close to family and medical care was difficult.
But, the grace of God was evident in the community of faith he experienced at school and in the pull towards ministry in Canada.

He began to look at potential pastor positions and when he saw the posting for Guelph Bible Chapel, it “sang to him.”
The things that GBC held as important resonated with him – Sunday worship gatherings, prayer, making disciples, and evangelism.

It took some time to get his head and heart around this new chapter of his life, but it is with confidence and anticipation that Dan looks forward to being the new pastor at GBC.
He’s amazed at God’s gentle and patient leading.
It’s been a reassurance of God’s presence and promise.
