Share Wear is the popular clothing ministry operated by Elmvale Community Church in Ontario.
Donations are received from the community and then offered back to the community.
Anything that can’t be used is then sold by the pound to the Kidney Foundation, which is turned into gift cards to build clothing or items that are harder to stock (like safety shoes or work uniforms.)
It’s a way for Elmvale to be present to their neighbours and to show the love of Jesus in a very practical sort of way.
It’s also an invitation to the community to participate in the mission of God.
Imagine that … a bag of outgrown clothes somehow plays a role in God’s redemptive mission.
