Woodside Bible Fellowship planned for a baptism service on Easter Sunday.
They also planned for spontaneous baptisms!
At the beginning of the Easter service, they announced if anyone was interested in being baptized that morning to go to the back of the church and meet with someone.
For many older teens, this was the chance they needed.
Many of them had wanted to be baptized and knew that this was a step of obedience, but just never got around to it.
That Easter morning there were no excuses!
The Spirit convicted and encouraged a handful of people to step forward and not to put it off any longer.
By the end of the morning, there had been 7 planned baptisms and 4 spontaneous baptisms.
There was a sense of real celebration as the Spirit worked and the people of God obeyed!
