It was a beautiful thing to hear a story this past week of two congregations working together.
We hear too often of church splits and fighting.
So to hear the tale of two churches – two different denominations, actually – working together, gave me hope!

Hope for Life Christian Fellowship and Oak Park Church of Christ in Calgary share building space.
On Christmas Eve, they sometimes worship together as a bigger picture of the family of God.
During COVID, they collaborated together for a joint online Sunday morning service.
Sometimes they serve together.
There’s a joy and cooperation between these two pastors – Tim and Lane – that is refreshing and hopeful.

In a world where there is so much division and conflict, these two are a picture of what the body of God is supposed to look like.
It reminds me of Jesus’ words:
By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another. (John 13:35)
