Healing for the Bleeding Woman

If you know Ming Peng (pastor at West Toronto Chinese Bible Church and Director of the Chinese Church Association), you know that he is a man of prayer. Recently, he had the chance to pray for a woman who was suffering with constant bleeding. Listen to Sister Yan’s testimony of God’s healing power:

“After giving birth to my child in 2014, I experienced constant bleeding.

When it was severe, talking loudly to my child or even a simple turning of my body would cause blood clots to fall out. I went to the hospital and saw doctors, but nothing helped, and I became very depressed.

This lasted for five to six years.

During the summer of 2019, brother MIng Peng came to my hometown for Sunday service. I remember that brother Ming Peng was sharing about the healing of a woman with an issue of blood from the Bible. I’d heard that story before many times, but that day, I was deeply moved.

I decided to ask brother Ming Peng to pray for me after the meeting, as I wanted to be healed, too. About ten minutes later, my husband texted me, saying, “After the meeting, you should ask brother Ming Peng to pray for you.” I agreed. After the meeting, I was still silently praying when Sister Xiu came toward me, took my hand, and said, “Let’s go and ask brother Ming Peng to pray for you.” I was deeply moved. The Holy Spirit was working on the three of us, all at the same time to ask brother Ming Peng to pray for me.

When brother Ming Peng laid his hands on my head, I was overwhelmed and tears flowed uncontrollably. A great power came over me. After praying, I said I felt at peace, and gradually, I truly felt at peace. I became well from that time on. And even today I’m still at peace, and I’m so grateful.

Jesus is not only my Savior, but also my greatest physician.”
