A man was watching the local church service from Pinewoods Chapel online.
He remembered his neighbour who had all this surplus from a bakery
and wondered what could be done with all this extra food.
So he called Pastor Chris and soon the church was hosting Free Food Fridays .
They networked with local food banks and connected people who could use a few more groceries.
Soon that bread, buns, pastries, bagels, and more was being distributed throughout the community – eaten and appreciated.
Another way to love our neighbour, just as Jesus says.
